Personal Data Processing Policy for Ensuring Personnel Selection

e-mail address: grconstructionab@gmail.com, (hereinafter referred to as the Manager) informs you of personal data processing during personnel selection, pursuant to the provisions of Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation:

 

1. Personal data

All information included in the CV submitted by you, such as your name, surname, gender, address, work and studies, language skills and the application thereof, additional knowledge/skills, phone number, e-mail address, Skype username, other information identifying you, as well as information obtained from persons who have provided references about you, if you have explicitly consented to us contacting such persons. In the event that you are invited to a job interview, the information you have provided, tests you have filled in and other inquiries during the interview are considered to be your personal data.

 

2. Purpose of personal data processing

For personnel selection and ensuring legal interests of and by the Manager, to the extent that pertains to personnel selection.

 

3. Legal grounds for data processing

3.1. You are free to express your willingness to apply for future vacancies, and the Manager will continue processing your personal data for the above purpose only if they will have received your request to include you in the job seeker database of SIA “GR CONSTRUCTION AB” under the conditions stated within this Policy (legal grounds for data processing is your consent).
3.2. Upon receiving your application, the Company gains legal interest in processing the application submitted by you, evaluating the information contained therein, organizing the interview procedure, conducting interviews and procuring proof substantiating the legal conduct of the respective process. In the event of dispute, information obtained during the selection process may be used to reflect the legal conduct of the respective process.

 

4. Recipients of personal data

4.1. The Manager confirms that its members will process the candidate’s personal data according to the data processing scope stated in their work duties, while following requirements stipulated in personal data protection and other laws and regulations, as well as personal data processing (technical and administrative) requirements stipulated in internal regulations of the Company.
4.2. In the event of receiving complaints about a selection process, the information obtained and processed during the selection may be shared with criminal justice agencies or supervisory authorities, as well as the court.

 

5. Storage

5.1. All information obtained during the candidate’s application for vacancies and/or providing additional information, e.g., during an interview, will be fully or partly stored in the Company database for a period of no longer than three months after the end of the personnel selection process, with the purpose of securing the legal interests of the Company. Following the data minimization principle, the Manager undertakes to delete the respective information.
5.2. In the event of the Manager receiving complaints about a specific selection process, all information processed during the selection will be stored until the time of reviewing the complaint and the moment of the final court ruling taking effect.

 

6. Rights of the data subject (candidate)

6.1. You have the right to request access to your data. The Data Protection Specialist of the Manager shall be contacted regarding all matters related to data processing stated in this notice:

6.2. You have the right to request the limitation of data processing or object against the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and data correction. You also have the right to address your complaint about the actions of the Company to the supervisory authority (Data State Inspectorate, Blaumaņa iela 11/13-15, Rīga, LV-1011) if the Company violates your rights as a data subject, pursuant to laws and regulations on personal data protection.
6.3. Given that the legal grounds for the processing of your personal data is your consent and the legal interests of the Company, you have the right to request the deletion of your data. Your request for the deletion of your data may be denied if the particular situation provides the Company with compelling legal reasons for processing which, upon performing a balancing test of rights, will be more important than your rights, interests and freedoms.

 

7. Additional personal data processing

Based on your personal data obtained during personnel selection, the Company does not intend to take automated decisions or profile you.

 

8. General provisions

The Company may amend this Policy. The current version of the Policy is available on the Company website hr@hrconstruction.se. The Company will notify you about changes by publishing the new version of the Personal Data Processing Policy for Ensuring Personnel Selection on their website with dates of amendments or by sending information to your e-mail address or mobile phone number if such information can be found in our database.
The current Policy shall be applied from 25 May 2019.
